I've always been excited about flying and everything connected with it. Spacecrafts, planes, helicopters, drones, skydiving – all these words are hypnotizing to me. So I was beyond excited to find out that my home YYZ airport offers free public tours for anyone interested to learn how the airport operates.

My group of about 15 other airport fans loaded into a GTAA minibus, and after passing a routine security check we were allowed on the airfield. No two tours are similar as the route is always dependent on what's happening at the airport that day. It seemed like our tour leader could explain absolutely every sign and operation happening around us while our skillful driver was constantly on the radio, listening to ground control directions and arranging permissions for us to see as much as possible. Everyone was ecstatic and glued to the windows to see planes so closely and to try to understand what was happening.
